(8.D.2.7) Adding new content to the Doc Hub

Purpose: Add a new page to demonstrate new topics on the externally facing doc hub.

Note: The page you create will be pushed live to the external site when the next version of AWE Designer, AWE Core, and AWE Core OS are released.

 

  1. Navigate to Documentation Hub [PUBLIC] space to add content to the AWE Designer doc hub or navigate to Documentation Hub [AWE Core, OS | PUBLIC] space to add content to the AWE Core and AWE Core OS doc hubs.

 

  1. Click on Scroll Documents and select the documentation you wish to add pages to (AWE Designer, AWE Core or AWE Core OS)

  2. Select the latest version of documentation

  3. Navigate to the parent page under which you’d like to add a page of new content. Hover over the page title and click on the + to create a child page.

  4. Give the page a title and add your content to the page. Click Publish when you have finished.

Note: Once you click Publish, your edits have not gone live to the public-facing external site. Follow the next steps to make your changes live.

 

  1. Return to the Jira ticket that corresponds to this creating new documentation task and escalate the task to have your new content approved by any required reviewers.

 

  1. If your new page(s) have been approved for final publishing, it will be pushed live when the next version of AWE Designer, AWE Core, and AWE Core OS are released.
